Edinburgh Airport Noise Action Plan Adopted

NAP concluded and adopted
The public consultation on the draft Edinburgh Airport Noise Action Plan (NAP) has concluded, with the Scottish Government officially adopting the new strategy. The consultation, which was open for responses from November 11, 2024, to January 31, 2025, gathered feedback that has been used to refine the final plan. This NAP, which is set to run until 2028, provides a framework for managing and, where feasible, reducing the impact of aviation noise on communities around Edinburgh Airport and along flight paths.
EANAB’s efforts in assisting EAL in working on the various documents and providing valuable feedback at all stages of the process was commended.
