Edinburgh Airport Community Fund has announced its first awards for 2025
The first round of the Edinburgh Airport Community Fund for 2025 has been awarded, it saw significant community engagement, with nearly £80,000 awarded to a diverse range of local projects.
- £78,591 awarded across 32 successful projects.
- 83 eligible applications (73% of total), a 6% increase from 2024.
Projects include: Inclusive Surfing Scotland (adapted wetsuits), Rannoch Community Centre (defibrillator), and The Froglife Trust (wildlife ponds).

The fund was established to ensure local communities share in the success of Scotland’s busiest airport. It provides financial support to community groups and charities committed to improving opportunities, facilities, and services available to local people.

Criteria for Funding
The fund will consider applications from Edinburgh, Falkirk, the Lothians, and Fife that support and reflect material issues and deliverables contained within one or more of the four pillars of Edinburgh Airport’s Greater Good sustainability strategy.
