Edinburgh Airport Community Fund has announced its latest awards for 2026
The Summer round of the Edinburgh Airport Community Fund for 2026 has been awarded, it saw significant community engagement, with more than £86k awarded to a diverse range of local projects.
- £484,035 total funds requested with 104 total applications
- £351,883 available for 76 eligible bids.
- £86,253 awarded across 30 successful projects.
Projects include: Spotlight Project – Sight Scotland for “eyegaze” software, Bathgate Academy for a Biodiversity garden, Broxburn and Uphall Growing Group for planters, West Lothian Flames Basketball, Bathgate Market and West Lothian Scouts,

The fund was established to ensure local communities share in the success of Scotland’s busiest airport. It provides financial support to community groups and charities committed to improving opportunities, facilities, and services available to local people.

Criteria for Funding
The fund will consider applications from Edinburgh, Falkirk, the Lothians, and Fife that support and reflect material issues and deliverables contained within one or more of the four pillars of Edinburgh Airport’s Greater Good sustainability strategy.
