Edinburgh Airport Community Fund has announced its forth awards for 2026
The forth round of the Edinburgh Airport Community Fund for 2026 has been awarded, it saw significant community engagement, with more than £86k awarded to a diverse range of local projects.
- £370,796 total funds requested with 100 total applications
- £270,845 available for 72 eligible bids.
- £86,252 awarded across 42 successful projects.
Projects include: YOUTHSPACE in Linlithgow was awarded funding to revamp their youth centre, while West Lothian Foodbank was awarded funding to help create a community garden in Bathgate.

The fund was established to ensure local communities share in the success of Scotland’s busiest airport. It provides financial support to community groups and charities committed to improving opportunities, facilities, and services available to local people.

Criteria for Funding
The fund will consider applications from Edinburgh, Falkirk, the Lothians, and Fife that support and reflect material issues and deliverables contained within one or more of the four pillars of Edinburgh Airport’s Greater Good sustainability strategy.
